Börje Ljunggren has a long career in the Swedish foreign office, as Sweden’s ambassador in Hanoi (94-97) and Beijing 2002-2006. He was head of the foreign office’s asian deparment for 4 years and is reknowned as the foremost expert on Chinese political affairs in Sweden.

Börje Ljunggren is going to hold a lecture on “Chinese resilient authoritarianism – and its limits”, how the Chinese political system affects Chinese society, the Bo Xilai-drama and it’s implications and the future of political reform in China.

Come join Project China at a special tea tasting session at Grace Tea House!

The tea tasting will be led by Chinese tea ceremony master Grace Guo, who will guide us through the wonders of the ancient Chinese tea culture!
